I'd heard mixed things, but from what I'd heard about the plot it sounded like something I would enjoy, or at least be interested in. It's a shame, because I wanted to like this book. And oh my god, I can not read another 'romance' where the characters just hate-fuck a couple times and decide they're in love without sharing even a single positive moment with each other. His theme song might as well be Norman fucking Rockwell by Lana Del Rey. Misha serves to remind me of why I am terrified of men. Not a single one of the characters is likeable (except for Manny, who honestly deserves so much better). This review is also available on Goodreads. This book feels like something straight from Wattpad, written by some 15 year old girl who's never experienced anything vaguely romantic in her life. The angsty and sexy story would appeal to readers of NA Romance. Punk 57 is a story of friendship and learning to accept one true self. Every beautiful thing she ever said to me to tilt my world on its side. Realistically, it was too much for 18 years old teenagers, but this is fiction and I like my sexiness in my book :p The sex scenes were intense and scorching. I do like the story even though it was predictable. What she went through and what she did were something that I’m sure many could relate too. Ryen might not be someone likable, but I do understand her situation. Whenever my worries or anger got the best of me, she always said just the right thing to put everything in perspective. Him being a musician added more to his appeal. “You were the only thing that was real to me,” It turned out to be a lot younger than I expected, still I did enjoyed it.

I basically had no idea what the story was supposed to be about before reading this book. But thier bond was threatened when reality didn’t matched with what was written.

Seven years passed since then but their friendship endured even without ever seeing each others. Misha Lare and Ryen Trevarrow has been friends since a case of mistaken identity during their fifth grade penpall assignment.
